Acceptable Use Policy

We will work hard for almost any honest business. There are a small number of categories we decline, and a small number of behaviours that void the engagement.

Who we work with

Small and medium businesses, founders, professionals and service providers operating legally in their country of operation. We are happy to verify registration where regulation requires it (GST, Udyam, business licence, professional council registration, etc.).

Businesses we cannot serve

We do not accept engagements in the following categories. This list is conservative to protect our team, our other customers, and the platforms we publish on.

  • Adult content, pornography, or sex work
  • Gambling, betting, lottery (other than government-licensed national lotteries)
  • Cryptocurrency exchanges, ICOs, token launches, NFT speculation projects
  • Multi-level marketing (MLM), pyramid schemes, “cash gifting” programmes
  • Get-rich-quick, forex signals, “guaranteed returns” trading
  • Illegal drugs, controlled substances, vape and tobacco where prohibited
  • Weapons, ammunition, regulated firearms accessories
  • Hate speech, extremist content, political violence, terrorist organisations
  • Child-focused businesses where mandatory child-safety vetting is not in place
  • Pseudoscientific medical claims (cancer cures, “miracle” treatments, anti-vax content)
  • Fake-review services, content-spinning, black-hat SEO operations

Adjacent businesses (licensed pharmacies, regulated alcohol retailers, licensed legal cannabis operators in jurisdictions where legal, etc.) are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Ask before purchasing if uncertain.

What we expect from customers

  • Honesty about your business, goals, and existing assets
  • Timely responses during onboarding and review windows
  • Lawful conduct — no asking us to make false claims, infringe trademarks, copy a competitor verbatim, or evade platform policies
  • Respectful communication with the Valarvom team

Conduct that voids the engagement

We reserve the right to end an engagement (with pro-rata refund for undelivered work) if a customer engages in any of the following:

  • Material misrepresentation of the business or its products
  • Requesting work that violates this Acceptable Use Policy
  • Harassment, threats, or discriminatory language toward team members
  • Chargebacks initiated without first attempting to resolve via support
  • Sharing platform credentials with unauthorised third parties

Reporting concerns

If you believe a Valarvom customer or piece of content violates this policy, contact us at trust@valarvom.com. We review every report and respond within 5 business days.

Updates

This policy may be updated as regulation evolves or new business categories emerge. Material changes are notified to active customers by email.
